Action Week!

After coming back from a semi-relaxing six days of not working, it’s time for me to get back in action IN A BIG WAY! Therefore, I declare this week to be Action Week here at Tales to Astonish!, implying that this is a week in which I take action, and lots of it! There’s gonna be so much action-taking in my life that I might not even have time to stop taking action!

Why is THIS week Action Week? Well, because after some unexpected travel and some health scares and court summonses during the past two months, I’ve had to put off doing a whole bunch of stuff that I wanted to (or needed to) get going on. Now that I’ve survived all that unscathed, I’m ready to get TURBOCHARGED WITH ELECTROLYTES and put on my GAME FACE and COWBOY UP to meet the challenges of life HEAD-ON. In this way, I am very much like Jack Bauer and Batman, except that I follow the rules outlined by the Geneva Convention and don’t have a car.

I’ll say one thing: this would be a bad week for aliens to try to invade the Earth, because I’m so action-oriented that I’d take them down like Mike Donovan would, with FIERCE DETERMINATION and HORSES. Seriously, even Dick Tracy himself would be proud of how much I’m going to get done this week. He’d probably call me “kid” and then give me one of those awesome radio-watches to help me TAKE MORE ACTION. I would use it to listen to ROCK ‘N’ ROLL so that I could rock out to crazy metal riffs as I fight crime and write reports and whatnot.

I kid you not: I am going to accomplish so much during this Action Week that there will probably be a parade in my honor.

With TICKER-TAPE.

Last Night

Last night I had a really involving, complicated, epic dream about an army of werewolves and a band of freedom fighters using lady ghosts to fight them.  I don’t really think that dreams get any more awesome than that.

A whole army filled with werewolves.

Think about that for a little while.
