ME: You know how hot I bet it was in my room last night? I bet it was hot enough to fry something on a surface that would otherwise be identified as being “very cold”!
HER: You mean like ice water?
ME: Something like that, if you wanna take the easy joke way out. I was thinking something more along the lines of liquid nitrogen.
This is the worst joke I made up today. (Paraphrased.)
ME: It was really hot in my room last night.
HER: How hot was it?
ME: It was so hot, I fried some eggs on my glass of icewater!
